Today is World Food Day. If you do nothing else for the observance, at least appreciate the food that you were able to eat today!
Today is also Dictionary Day, named in honor of Noah Webster's birthday. According to dictionary.com, today's word of the day is quotidian, which means occurring or returning daily. Doesn't that seem a little antipodean?
